This is where it all begins. The foundation will be the most important part of the project. Being precise with measurements and grade heights is the key. Requirements will vary depending on your location. So for that, we offer options such as insulation, vapor barrier, re-bar tie ins, pea-gravel, or what ever is needed.
Below, we'll go into detail on the foundation types with a few examples.

MONOLITHIC / SLAB ON GRADE
The pictures in this section refer to a "monolithic" or a "slab on grade" foundation. This method is often used for homes that are currently on a slab. It is done by digging the footing to depth, then pouring the footings and slab together. This project required insulating the pad.

BLOCK
This section describes a block foundation, typically used on a home with a crawl space or basement. Here we dig and pour a footing where a block wall is laid for the crawlspace walls.

UNDERPIN
This applies to rooms being built on an existing slab that require a footer. We dig along and under the slab to the required depth, then pour the footings up to the bottom of the pad.
